Muslin Bags

The Keeper muslin bags come in packs of 3, and you can mix sizes! Our muslin is a very serviceable fabric and is extremely versatile for both shopping and kitchen storage.

The fabric allows for good air circulation while reducing light, making them perfect for room and pantry storage of produce. They excel in refrigerator storage, keeping fresh, herbs, carrots, cut pumpkin, corn, zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, brussel sprouts.

They're also perfect for carrying bread, grains and nuts. Other uses include taking them camping, using them to carry children's toys, shoes, and even as travel bags.

The tight weave of our muslin bags means they are also perfect for buying and storing finer products like flours, grains, seeds and nut meals.

Wax Round Wraps

Say goodbye to single use plastic wrap! The Keeper waxed round wraps have been designed for use on a range of bowl sizes or to seal the end of cut fruits.

To use simply wrap over a bowl, selecting from the right size from the 4 different sizes available in the set. Press the sides onto the bowl, the warmth from your hands will helps soften and seal the wrap.

To use on cut fruit, you can use a natural rubber band or string to help hold it in place over the end you are sealing. It will become stiffer in the fridge or freezer but this will not affect its efficiency.

To clean simply rinse with cold or with tepid water. Hot water will melt the wax so avoid using hot water to clean. A little natural detergent and cold water can be used for greasy stains. Make sure to air dry open after washing, before next use.

Mesh Bags

Take your durable and lightweight mesh bags with you when you grocery shopping. The mesh construction on these bags provides excellent air circulation to the produce inside. The mesh stretches both ways, allowing plenty of space for your produce.

You can hang garlic, ginger, tomatoes lemons, avocados and other skinned produce on hooks by the drawstring in area that is not too hot in your kitchen exposing all of the contents to open air, reducing spoilage and bruising.

You can also use them to store your fruits in the fruit bowl or in the fridge.

In the refrigerator, you can store peaches, pears, apples, oranges, zucchini, squash, cucumbers, carrots, as well as most thick-skinned items. Perfect to replace plastic bags!

If you love making your own milk, then these little bags will really come in handy. Our nut milk bag has been carefully designed to filter not only home made nut, rice or oat milks but also to be used to make or filter other nourishing foods like yoghurt, cheese or kombucha.

After making your milk, place your nut milk bag in a large jar and pour the puree into the bag. Pull closed and gently squeeze your home made milk into the jar. Keep in the fridge for up to a week. Another great substitute for single use items in the kitchen.
